Register for an initial consultation with a REMEDI reproductive specialist - this doctor will collect a history, determine the causes of infertility, write referrals to other narrow specialists and order tests. We are waiting for you, even if you have already undergone IVF, but pregnancy was not achieved. We use cutting-edge technology to track discoveries and innovations in reproductive care. Our doctors will prepare expectant parents for the next stage of IVF.
The patient will receive a list of drugs and detailed instructions on how to take them. These drugs will stimulate the maturation of germ cells. The doctor monitors the process of maturation of follicles in order to select several eggs in time to work with them in the laboratory. During this period, the patient must constantly undergo examinations. Therefore, our clinic offers assistance in finding a comfortable place of residence for nonresident patients.
When the eggs are ready for fertilization, doctors carry out a simple procedure: they take the germ cells for further work with them outside the woman's body. This is a comfortable manipulation for the patient, because it is performed under anesthesia. The resulting cells are placed in a special container with a culture medium simulating natural conditions.
Fertilization of eggs is carried out either using the insemination method, or by conducting ICSI. Fertilized eggs (embryos) are cultivated in special media under incubator conditions up to 5 days of development.
Embryo transfer is performed on an outpatient basis. This is a painless procedure that does not require anesthesia. Usually, no more than 2 embryos are transferred. Moreover, we recommend preferring the transfer of 1 embryo in order to reduce the risk of multiple pregnancies. IVF-derived embryos can be frozen (cryopreserved) for later delayed use.
When pregnancy occurs in the 1st trimester, the patients receive hormonal maintenance therapy. 2 and 3 trimester in patients after IVF proceeds in the same way as naturally occurring pregnancies. After IVF, spontaneous childbirth is possible - it all depends on the specific obstetric situation.
